Inventory Specialist (Pull Clerk)
The entry-level position at DPI is what we call a Pulls Specialist (or Pull Clerk). A pull clerk prints our Daily Default List (better known as the “Pull List”), then pulls this merchandise out of pawn storage, cleans it thoroughly, prices it accurately, and puts it onto the sales floor. This is the best place to start learning the pawnbroker trade because you will learn our 2 price points (what we loan on stuff, and what we resell it for), and you’ll learn our floor layout (pawn storage and sales floor). We have three types of Pulls Specialists (Regular Pulls, Computer Pulls and Jewelry Pulls); your assignment will depend on your experience & prior training. NOTE: You do not earn commissions as a Pulls Specialist.
Pay Rate: $10+ per hour
Location: both stores
Date Available: January 13, 2012
